These shows are an excellent representation of what you could do with a career in forensics.
In this program, students will work together to solve one extensive simulated crime. This material will be different from yet complementary to our popular one-week Forensics program. While the Forensics program teaches the minutiae of various lab techniques, fingerprinting methods, and more, this program will focus on solving a mystery. From crime scene intake to examinations, lab work, and deliberations, will you solve the crime?
This program is designed for teens interested in an investigative or pre-law / legal career.

Student Comments from Summer 2023
‘I liked all of the hands-on stuff and creating our own crime scenes. We were able to use methods that experts would actually use in real life situations. Fox was a great teacher that was really fun and enthusiastic, and it was fun having class with him. I definitely want to pursue forensics in the future now.’
‘I’ve taken a criminal justice class before, but this was different. This was interactive and fun and realistic. It was taught very well because I learned a lot and enjoyed it. I feel like this will definitely help me in the future. The teaching had a good balance between fun and learning/notes, etc.’
‘We did blood splatter, fingerprints, footprints, and made crime scenes. I liked that it was very hands-on, and we got to use real tools and things that real investigators use. I liked that Rich Fox had experience in this field and knew a lot about the things that he taught us.’
