GI Partners scholarship

Eight scholarships for our 3-week programs provided by GI Partners

GI Life Partners specializes in acquiring and managing real estate, including life sciences laboratory space in the Greater Boston area. The GI Real Estate team identifies, finances, acquires, builds, and manages real estate holdings.

GI Life Partners, through a generous donation, is funding eight full scholarships for rising Seniors seeking to attend three week research programs at the Boston Leadership Institute in the following areas:

• Neuroscience

• Biological Research

• Forensic Science

• MedChem & Pharma

• Veterinary Medicine

• Marine Biology

• Oncology

To be eligible, students must:

Be a US Resident
Live in a household that has filed a 2024 Federal tax return documenting a household income at or below the MA 2023 median household income of $101,341
Live in Boston or in communities in the Greater Boston area within or adjacent to Route 128
Be currently enrolled in their Junior year of high school
Have reliable means of transportation to and from the program as documented by parent or legal guardian

Applicants will be selected on the basis of merit using criteria such as GPA, GPA in STEM classes, extracurricular activities, and the application essay. Finalists who are contacted by the Boston Leadership Institute may be asked for further documentation, letters of recommendation, and transcripts.

Applications will be reviewed May 15th to May 31st.

This scholarship does not cover transportation or housing. Students must have reliable transportation to and from the program.
