They will also dive into accounting and get an excel 101 lesson. Then it’s into the hot new topic of cryptocurrency, where students will find out what exactly crypto is and how it’s used. On the topic of currency, students will then learn all about payroll and the state and federal requirements that business owners must follow. After that, students will move onto taxes and quickbooks and create their own sample bank account to explore topics including expense labeling, income, audits, and tax planning. Next it’s a mini marketing lesson where students will create their own marketing plan and social media pages for their business.
