Explore the great outdoors at the Boston Leadership Institute!
This course takes full advantage of our location outside of Boston. Our gorgeous Olin College campus is situated just outside Boston adjacent to a variety of elements like forests, fields, rivers and more. Students will get their hands dirty exploring the various New England habitats, marshlands, forests, geology and more.
Students will also have the opportunity to learn about local animal and plant life native to beautiful New England. Students engage in proprietary activities. This is the perfect option for students who have outgrown the typical summer camp but don’t want to spend the summer in a lab.
Note: this page represents our best expectations for the program we will deliver, but is subject to change. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

Student Comments from Summer 2023
‘What I liked about the program is that we were able to learn new material, as well as doing hands-on activities such as dissections and other games that mimicked the real life situations in marine organisms. I also liked that Ms. Pekarcik was really engaging when teaching the class.’
‘I liked how a lot of the learning was hands-on and interactive like the dissection and some models.’
‘I liked learning not only about the sea but the rivers, marshes and the land around. The teacher was nice and funny. I liked that she used personal experiences to help explain things.’
