Introduce students to the exciting and creative world of engineering with a clever twist! Projects will be centered around theme park construction with engineering components and incorporating elements of architectural design.

Dive into a mix of electronics and robotics, architecture, and civil engineering with defined projects that leave plenty of room for originality and tinkering. Students will complete multiple projects using electronics kits. They will also design a model of a theme park. Another big project? Students will work as a group to design a large ferris wheel using engineering components!

Work will be supervised but will also allow space for imagination and creativity to enter in. This is a great first look that will help students decide if they want to continue exploring this expansive career path in the future while providing a fun-filled week of stimulating tasks.

Student Comments

“The engineering design program was very fun and I liked my teacher.

I liked how the program gave creative freedom, and how we were allowed to use things how we wanted to experiment and learn.

“The program was nice because it wasn’t too complicated, so me being new to engineering could understand what was going on and follow along. The teacher was willing to help us with whatever we needed and was very good with figuring stuff out.”
