Intro to sports statistics

One-Week Summer Program for Pre-High School Students

Love sports? Love math? Why not both!
If you’re a sports fan who also loves numbers, this course is your perfect match! Step into the exciting world of sports statistics and discover how math is behind every play, every score, and every big win. You’ll learn how to analyze player performance, track team trends, and even predict outcomes—all while having fun with hands-on activities that let you play the sports you’re studying.

But this isn’t just classroom math—you’ll see it in action! You’ll head to a Red Sox game to watch the stats come alive. Imagine spotting patterns and strategies in real time while cheering for your favorite players!

By the end of this course, you’ll not only understand the numbers behind the games you love, but you’ll also think like a sports analyst, combining your love of athletics and math in a way that’s totally unique. Get ready to score points in both sports and math and have a blast doing it!
