One-Week Summer Medicine Program

In this hands-on program, students explore what it’s really like to care for patients, support medical teams, and keep hospitals running smoothly. You’ll practice core clinical skills used every day in healthcare, like taking vital signs, giving injections safely, placing IVs on simulation models, and communicating with patients in high-pressure situations.

You’ll also learn how nurses think: how they assess symptoms, make fast decisions, and collaborate with doctors and emergency staff. Through simulations, case studies, and real-world scenarios, you’ll see why nurses are often the first and last line of support for patients and families.

Whether you feel called to help people, love science, or just want to understand a high-impact career, this course gives you a true look into one of the most essential roles in medicine. If nursing sparks something in you, this is where you start.

This one-week summer program is designed for teens interested in pre-med.
